A high energy, folk-rock band known for their powerful songwriting. Brothers Scott and Seth Avett, along with Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon on cello, bring a unique blend of folk rock, Americana and alternative country to the stage. The Avett Brothers have been nominated for several Grammy awards including for True Sadness. In addition to their Grammy nominations the band has also received awards from the Americana Music Association including Duo/Group of the Year and New/Emerging Artist of the Year.
As a solo artist, collaborator, vocalist and performer Mike Patton is perhaps best known as the lead singer and founding member of the Alternative Metal group Faith No More as well as experimental group Mr. Bungle.
The huge hit by Faith No More is ‘Epic’ ( a 1990 Alt Metal song that reached No.3 on the Billboard Hot 100) and the surreal, funky cover of The Commodores’ ‘Easy’ . As a member of Faith No More, Mike Patton has been nominated for several Grammy Awards, and has worked with a huge and diverse array of other artists including, Björk, John Zorn, Nine Inch Nails and many more.
